How We Met

We met by chance in 1998; Stevie was a high school sophomore excited about scoring tickets to a Reel Big Fish concert when a friend brought  over her new boyfriend for introductions. Jason, a junior attending a high school in a nearby community, complimented her on her Reel Big Fish t-shirt. Stevie was instantly smitten. Luckily, things between Jason and the friend were not meant to be. With her friend’s blessing, Stevie took up stalking- er, pursuing Jason, and six months later we were inseparable. (And as it turns out, Jason had no idea who Reel Big Fish was and then had to spend the next three years pretending he liked them. BE YE NOT SO IMBECILIC.)

We married in 2002 and bought our first house in 2003. You can usually find us working on a remodeling project and hanging out with our small pack of ferocious beasts… when we’re not working on pointless websites.
